FRA The Reverend's Paradise

Birthdate: 4/22/2007

Registration: ARI Registered

Description: Paradise already owns a Reserve Championship at 6 months old from the 2007 ABR Fall Fest and a 5th place out of 14 at GWAS 2008 as a black yearling female. Her pedigree reaches back to Pperuvian Pluro on her dam's side and to Peruvian Bueno and Pperuvian Demetrio on the sire's side. There is a preponderance of black and gray, with both parents being black.

We selected Mile High The Reverend Mr. Black for the breeding to Turtle Creek Patience, a black we purchased in 2005 with a string of ribbons behind her from eastern shows. The Rev has enough Purple Championships to paper his stall and is a true black without a spot. There was a loud shout of joy when Paradise appeared, healthy and looking very black all over!

She should be ready to breed by this fall, registering 90 lbs now,and we would highly recommend a breeding to our Aladdin of KPR, sire of many black and brown champions. However, we also offer Yukon Jack, a silver gray Aladdin son or Snowmass Silver Spirit, a rose gray. If you are a color gambler, you might go with Royal Peruvian Avanti, a light fawn with incredible fleece. The point is, you have a choice among our 4 sires...all producers of gray and black (even Avanti!)

Patience has presented us with 2 black females in a row, but we've made a tough decision to let a lucky buyer have the next one. Her yearling true black daughter Paquita is amazing, and Patience presented us with another gorgeous black female, Paradise, out of The reverend Mr. Black in early spring. The cria will be ready to wean this fall and Patience will be ready to go to a new farm.

She is bred to Aladdin of KPR, our bay black full-Peruvian male that is producing many champions, and should produce another wonderful cria in April 2008.

Patience is a very healthy, robust female with excellent mothering, birthing and milking skills.
