Heritage: 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian
Registration: ARI Registered
ARI #: 31811019
Color: White

Type: Female Huacaya

Description: This weanling has Peruvian Hemingway, 4Peruvian Black Magic, Ppperuvian Misty Maiden and Esteban-Allavocone [lsg] as great-grandparents and both grandmothers are dark colors [MRG & LB]. Her mother is true black and the sire, El Corazon, is medium fawn...but Sirena came out white!! She has a knock-out fleece with long staple and good crimp...and lots of color to pass on when bred to color.

For her free breeding, we suggest Aladdin, our full-Peruvian bay black producer of Champions or TCB Polaris. Ask about our "Easy Herd-Builder" plan, with only 15% down and NO PAYMENTS until either the mother or her progeny sells (3 year limit).

This package includes the 2011 breeding and half-price breedback for the her in 2011. We like to help others grow their herds and succeed in the alpaca business while enjoying the tax benefits of livestock ownership.

To sweeten the deal, purchase 2 female/cria pairs from our "A" list and get a female/cria pair from our "B" list FREE. If you'd rather have a male, you can choose one from our group of yearling males. See our farm page for a complete explanation.

This female is on our "B" list for purposes of this sale, since we held her open in 2010 to establish a spring/summer birthing cycle.

BRED TO ALADDIN! Nothing but champions! Safari's 2008 cria, Sinbad, took Reserve Champion at ABR's Level IV Fall Fest, following on the heels of her daughter Sonora and son San Joaquin!!Her own fleece took Blue at the Level IV AFCNA Continental Fleece Show in August 2008."Wow" was what we said when Safari was born!! A lovely true-black out of the renowned Desert Sun. We said it again when she gave birth to San Joaquin in 2006 and Sonora in 2007 and in 2008 Sinbad, a shining true black out of Aladdin. Joaquin has two Championships already & Sonora took 1st in a class of 13 bay black juvenile females at GWAS 2008, one of AOBA's largest shows, and is the Reserve Champion/Blue ribbon winner at ABR's Fall Fest, standing behind her bay black half-sister.

Safari's fleece has taken several Blues and one Reserve Championship and she is a solid true black except for a white ankle bracelet on her left leg.

His name literally means "the heart of Bella Vita" and what a perfect name for this herdsire! Corazon` exhibits our breeding philosophy perfectly. He is 1/2 Peruvian, 1/2 Chilean. His grandsire, Hemingway, is from Rural Alianza in Peru. Not only is he as cute as he can be, he is conformationally correct and has a style and presence about him that catches the attention of all around. The common phrase in our barn on farm visits is "Who is that?!". To touch Corazon's fleece is like touching heaven - buttery soft, almost surreal. Its rich texture, well defined crimp, bundling and bright color exemplify why the judges pick him out of a crowd to stand him at the top of his classes. He is covered from head to tail to toes with fleece that maintains its character into his neck, legs, tail and under belly. He exhibits incredible staple length, and Judge Mike Safely at 2008 AOBA Nationals made the comment, "You gotta love the head on that animal" and also pointed out to the crowd the e
